Spring Gallery & Sculpture Garden is located in Belgrade Lakes, Maine. Exhibitions in the gallery space take place during the summer months while work remains in the garden throughout the year. Summer hours are Thursday to Sunday 11 AM to 5 PM with additional hours in July, please call for updates. | Alternative Space began as an exhibition series in a non formal industrial setting. It lasted for 10 exhibitions from 2000 to 2005. After moving from the storage facility that housed this exhibition, we hosted one final Alternative Space at our Astoria location under the heading: A Foundry Affair. This was a one day event consisting of selected Alternative Space works, new works by emerging artists, foundry demonstrations and an all day BBQ. | |||||
| Today, Alternative Space is located in our renovated gallery space at 18-70 41st Street. Currently visits to Alternative Space are by appointment only. To schedule a visit please contact Patricia Bradshaw at 718-728-2030. We will be happy to give you a tour of the gallery space and the foundry. The current exhibition highlights the work of Kristin H. Eyfells, Dick Shanley, Shay Rieger, David Baskin, and Amber Marsh.garden. |
